A Good Day

Today was a good day. Took S. and three of my sister's kids to the aquatic center. We got there soon after it opened, and it was busier than usual for that time. Of course the temps read at 107 degrees, so maybe that was why. Anyway, we swam and ate and applied sunscreen. And swam and ate and applied sunscreen. You get the idea. We stayed until the session was nearly over. We always have such a good time. The water was so refreshing. The snack stand has snow cones. We pack a lunch. We go down the slides. We laugh and joke and try to sneak up on each other in the water. My nephew modeled some nice water-induced comb-over hairdos (or hair don'ts.) Honestly, he looked like the old guys in church with that hair. S. & A. are as tan as all get out. It just ain't fair!!!! E. was telling me all about her recent trip to Utah to EFY. We just had a good time. Those little buggers are my favorite people to spend the day with. Hope we can go a couple more times before school starts.
