Flattered?

I'm not sure whether to be flattered or disconcerted. Somehow my name came up for being on the nominating committee for our local PTA. I saw the PTA pres. at Walmart last night and she said that several teachers had mentioned me. What? Why? Is it because I've been vocal lately? Or have I somehow managed to tick enough of the wrong/right people off? I have to admit, I'm not sure. And it bugs the heck out of me. No wonder my ears were burning last week. Yikes!
