Go figure - the one year I don't take S. in to the eye doctor for a routine check-up (having been laughed out of their offices for several years straight) is the year she winds up needing glasses. She is far sighted and has a slight astigmatism. Dr. said it is probably due to her tall frame, hormonal changes, and all that jazz. The kid looks stinkin' cute if you ask me. Hopefully it will help with her reading and close work.
